DESCRIPTION Operators assist in producing and controlling the quality of non-woven (air filtration) products. Operators enter data into computer systems. Operators are also responsible for assisting with machine start up and shutdown, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and other related tasks. Operators work as a team in a fast-paced environment on a fixed 8-hour schedule. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: * Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required. * Ability to maintain proper recordkeeping of material and inventory. * Ability to maintain good housekeeping and follow S.O.I.'s. * Experience with set up of equipment and monitoring to validate process. * Experience communication to be able to report needs in work area. * Mechanical Aptitude, Basic, Reading and Writing skills are required. * High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred. * To qualify for employment at Mativ, candidates will need to complete a pre-employment physical, background check and drug screen (post offer acceptance). Degree or equivalent experience. * While performing the duties of this job the employee must: Be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds; Regularly required to use hands and stand for longs periods of time.
