Description Position at Fireside Fireside Hearth & Home is hiring aSr. HR Generalistfor our Midwest Region which includes our Minneapolis/St. Paul & Madison, WI markets. This hybrid role (4 days a week onsite) will be based out of our Roseville, MN location, with up to 10% travel to other locations within the Midwest Region. The Sr. HR Generalist works closely with the regional leadership team to implement people strategies that improve business performance through attracting, developing, and engaging top talent. They act as a trusted advisor for employees and leaders to create a culture of inclusion and respect. Primary Objectives: Develop relationships with team and position self as a credible HR partner Champion member engagement Understand the Point of View for all HR process (Talent Acquisition, Engagement, Development, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, and Compliance/Risk Management) and effectively execute the right levers to meet business needs Partner with HR and business leaders to resolve immediate member relations issues Lead recruiting activities for select non-exempt positions (customer service, installers, warehouse etc.) and partner with talent acquisition on recruiting for exempt positions Supporting Objectives: Use HR data and judgment to provide immediate solutions to acute needs of members and business leaders Identify member training and development opportunities which will positively impact quality, delivery, and safety metrics Facilitate employee communication across the members Implement the organization's Diversity & Inclusion strategic initiatives including, facilitating knowledge sharing of best practices, communication and training within the business partner group Education and Experience 5+ years' experience in Human Resources Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience providing human resources support across a geographically diverse employee group Experience working with skilled trades, manufacturing, distribution or field employees Preferred Qualifications PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification Human Resources business partner experience Skills and Abilities Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues Experience in an Applicant Tracking System, Timekeeping System, and HRIS system Background in FMLA, employment law and other government compliance regulations Ability to build relationships with remote client groups and the HR functional owners Ability to manage relationships in a Matrix management structure Demonstrate strong business acumen, leadership capabilities, willingness to be flexible and adaptable, strong customer focus and collaboration, innovation, and analytical proficiency About Working at Fireside Hearth & Home Technologies Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT) is the Residential Building Products division of HNI Corporation (NYSE: HNI).We are thenation'sleading developer, manufacturer, distributor and installer of hearth products.Our products include a wide variety of gas, electric, wood burning fireplaces, inserts, stoves, fire tables, fire pits and accessories.HHT carries the industry's best and most recognized brands,including:Heat & Glo, Heatilator, Harman, Quadra-Fire,PelPro, Vermont Castings, OutdoorGreatRoomCompany (OGC), and Fireside Hearth & Home retail stores and builder design centers.Lakeville, Minnesota is our home, but we have locations throughout the United States.
