Job ID: 3965 Join the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) team, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking innovations! We are seeking applicants for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Strategic and Military Space Division.
The Strategic & Military Space Division delivers advanced satellite and sensor systems that support the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and continually improve regression and acceptance tests including automated tests
- Test, investigate, and manage defects and discrepancies for software with and without a UI
- Provide test leadership as part of the software development teams
- Continually evaluate and help refine internal and external customer requirements
- Develop test strategies to meet the release schedule for multiple programs
- Assist in directing student employees in the test and independent validation and verification process
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
- Develop new test methodologies for emerging technologies
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in a STEM field or equivalent years of related experience
- Working knowledge of Linux, Windows
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with team members
- Experience with some of the following: C++, C#, Selenium, CSS, Node.js, Confluence, Jira, Zephyr, BitBucket, VMware/VirtualBox, Jenkins, Visual Studio, SQL, Git
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain US Government DoD Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in testing software, software test automation, and software test documentation
- Experience leading small teams
- Experience in an Agile software development environment
- Experience implementing software test in a CI/CD software development environment
- Active security clearance
*Salary Range
- $70,000-$100,000
- Salary commensurate based on education and experience
