Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planning Manager encompass all of the functions related to the operational implementation, project management, and monitoring of key Supply Chain strategies. This position will be responsible for continuously improving thecomplete supply chainstrategy driving cost reductions, efficiencies, and on-time delivery.

The Supply Chain Planning Manager position manages approximately8 direct reports and oversees other staff members working in collaboration to meet operational objectives.

Implement a supply chain planning strategy in support of customer's needs. Drive best industry practices within the organization and the supporting supply base. Leverage PCC Corporate organization in support of strategic supply chain initiatives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach, and develop planners, expeditors, production controllers
  • Leads the strategic development of the manufacturing plans and master schedules
  • Project ownership of new business transition / award implementation driving key metrics within site locations ensuring efficient and rapid launch to Operational strategy
  • Develop key metrics for supply chain department to drive on-time delivery, reduce critical shortages, and maintain plant capacity
  • Develop and implement plans to maximize schedule flexibility, while minimizing inventory exposure and reducing risk for both the company and the customer while maintaining performance to cost targets
  • Implement programs for lead-time reduction within the supply chain. Measure and report on project status internally, and to the customer.
  • Manage lead times, MOQs, and monitor order rates, inventory levels, and delivery plans. Develop and/or maintain existing metrics associated with demand, service, and inventory management and order points. Lead process & system improvements.
  • Manage supply chain performance and report monthly performance results, identifying issues and recommending corrective action. Operate in a continuous improvement mode focusing on quality, cost and delivery.
  • Initiate and collaboratively develop opportunities with key stakeholders to improve processes and costs. Effectively and proactively communicate with all levels of leadership about identified supply constraints and demand growth opportunities.
  • Collaborative interaction with multiple key functional roles internally, along with critical customer support. Identify and successfully execute supply chain improvement opportunities by working collaboratively with Site Operations Team, Commercial Teams and through use of 5S / Lean tools & techniques.
  • Perform special projects and assignments
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Operations or Engineering, Inventory Management or Business required.
  • 5+ years' of supply chain management with experience in aerospace manufacturing environment required.
  • Preferred CPIM certification through APICS, or C.P.M. certification through ISM
  • Preferred Training and experiencein Kan Ban, JIT, Lean Manufacturing, and pull systems
  • JDE or Syteline experience a plus
  • Analytical, communication, interpersonal, team development, project management and technical skills
  • Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $125100 to $187000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 3X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
