Job Summary / General Purpose: * Assume supporting role to the Director of Natural Gas Assets & Costs Major Duties / Responsibilities: * Assist in maintaining rates and capacity portfolio models to evaluate the economics of retail deals involving assigned utility assets * Assist in the transfer of capacity to Supply upon sale's deal execution * Coordinate with schedulers and LDCs the dispatch of the managed assets * Assist in maintenance of Pricing Tool/Ties, including pipeline rates, utility rates, and matrix changes * Assist in validation and testing of pricing tool updates * Reconcile assumptions with actual pipeline releases monthly * Reconcile the actual capacity assignment with the schematics and deal assumptions * Support the effort of evaluating pricing tool capacity accuracy via Excel models and/or with sales reps * Continuously evaluate the accuracy of modeling and hedging strategies * Assist with Month End Close of Supply * Assist with Storage Asset Management * Other projects as assigned Education / Experience / Skill Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in finance, business or a related field. MBA is a plus. * Problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Natural gas operations experience a plus * Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Access, SQL, or ability to learn programs * Comprehension of natural gas transportation, storage and peaking assets a plus * Excellent documentation and ability to prioritize tasks * Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team * Ability to prioritize workload, perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment and relate to customers/outside contacts and fellow employees Why Join Us:
