What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a group of certified field inspectors for electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections, as well as office project managers (degreed engineers)
- Provide necessary training and mentoring to the team of inspectors, overseeing quality control, final report review and preparation, preparation of budget proposals, and management of projects related to building system inspections and traditional construction materials testing projects
- Additional responsibilities include marketing and business development and assisting other staff in marketing our services by maintaining and developing client interactions
- Practical experience in design or conducting inspections of engineering building systems (MEP/Fire)
- Other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection/Safety Engineering 5+ years of experience related to inspection of mechanical, electrical, fire safety, or plumbing systems Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within three months Master Code Professional (MCP) and/or Certified Building Official (CBO) a strong plus
