POSITION PURPOSE: The Engineering Supervisor will assist the Chief Engineer by completing all assigned job duties and to assist with the oversight of the Engineering department. In this position, the Engineering Supervisor will help to ensure that all physical building assets and equipment remain in good repair with a minimum of down time.

As our Engineering Supervisor, you would:

  • Provide daily Condition and Work Progress report to the Chief Engineer.
  • Supervise, direct and inspect the Engineers on a daily basis to insure their work productivity and quality meets standards and deadlines.
  • Be responsible for coordination and rollout of projects as directed.
  • Interact as needed with guests, contractors, and vendors.
  • Perform all assigned day-to-day maintenance and preventative maintenance projects as assigned.
  • Assist fellow Engineers with their assigned tasks to include troubleshooting, regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections via walk-thrus of public areas, back of the house areas, guest rooms and exterior areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the Engineering Department
  • Address hazardous situations that could result in slips, falls, or other potential harm in all areas of the facility.
  • Perform daily inspections and enforce compliance among department staff, and provide training and guidance to department staff on maintaining cleanliness and organizing equipment.
  • Perform any other reasonable job duty as assigned.

We are looking for our next amazing property leader, who will:

  • Be able to read and interpret documents to include: Blueprints/Schematics, Procedure manuals, OSHA standards such as Lockout/Tag Out, MSDS, etc.
  • Possess the individual ability to troubleshoot, repair and/or maintain all of the following:

O Physical building to include all FF&E

O A/C and refrigeration equipment

O Mechanical equipment (i.e. motors, starters, pumps, fans, etc.)

O Plumbing and drains

O Pneumatic and electronic systems and controls

O Fire Alarm and Life Safety equipment

  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have the ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
  • Possess and show analytical skills in order to be able to assess and identify problems and then implement solutions.
  • Represent the hotel and company in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
  • Be able to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Be able to work any of the three shifts, as needed.
