Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Partnerships to support our Joint Venture. This role requires a strategic visionary with a strong background in the automotive industry, adept in business development, and proficient in P&L leadership. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, foster innovation, and ensure sustainable growth within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

    Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the joint venture's vision and objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define long-term goals and strategic initiatives.

Business Development:

  • Drive new business development efforts, identifying potential partnerships, customers, and market segments.
  • Foster relationships with key industry players, suppliers, and customers to expand the joint venture's footprint.
  • Spearhead product innovation initiatives to meet evolving market demands and technological advancements.

P&L Management:

  • Oversee the financial performance of the joint venture, ensuring robust financial health and profitability.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports; analyze variances and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices in financial management.

Operational Excellence:

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Implement effective performance management systems to track progress against strategic objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, providing updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Represent the joint venture at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the business and build brand awareness.
  • Ensure alignment and synergy between the joint venture and parent company.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in joint ventures or partnerships.
  • Skills:
    • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution.
    • Strong financial acumen in P&L management.
    • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing diverse teams.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
