Please use a bullet-point format in all areas. Job Summary: The Senior Principal Program Analyst (Finance) will report to the Finance Manager. This position is located in our Shared Services Center in Crestview, Florida. The Senior Principal Program Analyst (Finance) is responsible for performing high level financial analysis and reporting for the companies handled in the Service Center - InDyne and Reliance Test & Technologies. This position will support multiple contracts and will provide support to the Finance Manager and Controller. The Senior Principal Program Analyst will support and collaborate with our Accounting and Finance, Contracts, Business Development teams, and others across the organization to build and maintain tools that optimize revenue and profitability, drive ongoing performance, and support overall corporate goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning, forecasting, monitoring, and assessing the financial condition of assigned programs.
- Develop, analyze and present to leadership Estimates At Completion (EAC) for assigned contracts on a monthly basis
- Reconcile revenue and ensure all costs are accounted for and posted before month end closing
- Analysis of Indirect Rates and cost impact on assigned contracts
- Pricing review and knowledge of labor rates price adjustments for Collecting Bargaining Agreements
- Assists and prepare the development of CDRLs (Contract Deliverables) for Finance and assigned contracts
- Run reports from CER (Costpoint Enterprise Reporting) and Costpoint Accounting software.
- Backup duties for Billing Analyst to include preparation and submittal of complex invoices for government contracts and reconciliations for Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursable funds
- Responsibilities include advanced skill set of Excel inclusive of pivot creation and functionality
- Update Small Business Reports. Monitor Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO).
- Work with Program/Site Managers to develop ad hoc reports to monitor budgeted labor and non-labor efforts.
- Assists Business Development with fact-finding, costing and pricing reviews
- A basic knowledge of DOD program environment, to include FAR, ITAR and DSS requirements is required
- Variance analysis and ad hoc reporting using spreadsheet templates
- Other jobs as assigned.
Educational/Training Requirements:
- Must have a combination of the following: Master's degree plus 2 years' experience; Bachelor's degree plus 4 years' experience; Associate Degree plus 6 years' experience; High School Diploma plus 8 years' experience; or 10 years' experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar environment (Contracts Finance/Pricing/Government Contracting)
Required Skills/Experience:
- Work entails confidential and sensitive information requiring a high degree of discretion
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and Power Point, Deltek CostPoint, Cognos Reporting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Costpoint
- Understanding of DoD contracts finance terms, invoicing, and cash collection
- The ability to handle many tasks at one time and to work with deadlines
- Security Clearance: Able to obtain and maintain if required by assigned contracts
- Travel: 5% or less, as needed
