Genesis10 is currently seeking a Revenue Manager with our client in their Sunnyvale, CA location. This is a 12-month contract position. This is a remote position working PST working hours.

Summary:


The Global Revenue Recognition team is seeking an IC Revenue Manager for the Sunnyvale office. This role requires collaboration with Systems, Product, FP&A, and Reporting teams to support the Order to Cash cycle for client's Consumer business. Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles and should be proficient in developing and documenting accounting decisions. Strong communication and project management skills are essential for articulating revenue requirements and facilitating progress. Additionally, the individual will participate in and support the month-end close process, with an emphasis on optimizing aspects of the Order to Cash process as the Company grows.

The position reports to the Revenue Manager and provides significant career development opportunities within a dynamic Revenue team, offering exposure to new products and offerings. The ability to adapt to change and shift priorities quickly while maintaining organization and accuracy is crucial for this role. Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the subject matter expert in finance/accounting for client's Consumer business.
  • Determine best practices and provide Revenue guidance to Global Revenue team and business partners to work towards company goals.
  • Identify, implement and lead projects that streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • This includes projects to accelerate close responsibilities through AI process automation and system automation.
  • Main point of contact for Engineering, Commerce and Systems and Reporting teams to understand data flow of Online transactions and assess accounting implications.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to support forecasting efforts and provide a bridge between revenue and outlook.
  • Provide revenue guidance on New Product Introductions (NPI) and manage the UAT with Revenue, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Lead weekly and bi-weekly meetings with cross-functional partners and give guidance on changes that have revenue impact.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study.
  • 10+ years in Accounting, Revenue, or AR.
  • Quote to Cash is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience (Intermediate) Excel skills (eq: Pivot Table, and VLOOKUP).
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with Oracle is a plus.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to simultaneously drive numerous projects, as well as identify, resolve and prioritize differing business issues.
  • Ability to review a high volume of transactions with proficiency, accuracy and integrity.
  • Understands the overall order to cash process and the role accounts receivable take in the process.
  • A versatile and driven team player with the ability to build relationships while executing on deliverables.
  • Challenges the status quo and seeks process improvement and innovation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on your immediate team, with the Controllership, as well as with all cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge and experience in SAAS accounting.

Pay rate range: $54.63 - $108.12 hourly.
