About the Role

The Associate Development Program is a paid full-time (temporary) experience designed for new or recent graduates who are looking to increase their professional sports experience. The format allows for structured professional development and hands-on learning.

Based out of Halas Hall, the Game Presentation Associate will support our day-to-day talent team operations and help to deliver first-class entertainment experience to Bears fans on gameday. The ideal candidate has a passion for engaging with fans, is detail oriented, wants to help us improve our fan experiences, and resides locally. This role will often work at Soldier Field (Chicago, IL)

Program Dates: Monday, July 7, 2025 - Friday, May 22, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Support the identification, vetting, and booking of gameday talent, including musical acts, national anthem performers, and in-game entertainment, ensuring alignment with brand standards and game themes.
  • Assist with the seamless execution of all on-field elements during gameday, such as fan engagement features, color guard and anthem performances, pregame and halftime ceremonies, and player introductions, ensuring timing and production standards are met.
  • Provide operational and logistical support for the Chicago Bears Drumline, Street Team, and Mascot Program. Responsibilities include managing payroll and time tracking, maintaining costume and equipment inventory, coordinating appearance schedules, and overseeing event logistics.
  • Conduct ongoing research and benchmarking to identify new and engaging ways to enhance gameday entertainment experiences, with a focus on elevating fan engagement and showcasing diverse talent.
  • Assist with various special initiatives and day-to-day administrative functions as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the Game Presentation department.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Sport Management, or related field
  • Previous experience in sports promotions, events, or marketing is preferred.
  • Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time in varying weather conditions, climb up/down bleacher stairs and lift heavy objects.
  • Must be able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to juggle multiple competing tasks while keeping key constituents in the loop.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and able to use good judgment.
  • Must be dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to a variety of situations.
  • Strong computer skills including Windows based applications and Microsoft programs.
  • Standard knowledge of the use of various social media platforms is a plus.

COMPETITIVE INDUSTRY PAY

The Game Presentation Associate is a full-time temporary position. This position is an HOURLY role. The expected hourly rate for this role is $19/per hour. Please note, due to job function, regular overtime (paid as time-and-a-half) may be expected. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
