We are seeking an experienced and visionary ServiceNow Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), integrations with systems such as Salesforce and other ServiceNow instances, and expertise in Agile methodologies.

This role involves designing architecture, developing roadmaps, optimizing out-of-box configurations, driving cross-platform integrations using ServiceNow Integration Hub, and collaborating with internal systems teams and customer systems teams to deliver seamless and scalable solutions. The ServiceNow Architect will play a critical role in aligning technical capabilities with business needs and ensuring the successful execution of ServiceNow projects.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Architecture and Roadmap Development:


  • Lead the design and implementation of the ServiceNow platform architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical ServiceNow roadmaps.

  • Develop and maintain a multi-year ServiceNow roadmap that outlines module adoption, upgrades, and integrations.

  • Recommend and implement out-of-box (OOB) configurations to maximize platform utilization while minimizing customizations.

Integrations:


  • ServiceNow to ServiceNow: Architect and implement integrations between multiple ServiceNow instances, enabling seamless data synchronization and workflows across different business units or organizations.

  • ServiceNow to Salesforce: Design and execute robust integrations with Salesforce for bi-directional communication of data, including customer service, asset management, and ticketing workflows.

  • Salesforce to ServiceNow: Ensure data flow and automation between Salesforce and ServiceNow using REST APIs, SOAP, Integration Hub, and other tools.

  • Work with both internal systems teams and customer system teams to design, implement, and optimize integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.

  • Leverage ServiceNow Integration Hub to build reusable, scalable integrations with third-party systems and tools.

ITSM:


  • Provide expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ServiceNow implementations.

  • Optimize incident, problem, change, request, and knowledge management workflows within ServiceNow.

  • Develop service catalogs, SLAs, and automated workflows to improve service delivery and user experience.

Hardware Asset Management (HAM):


  • Architect HAM processes to manage the lifecycle of physical and virtual hardware assets.

  • Integrate HAM with CMDB, procurement systems, and other ServiceNow modules to ensure accurate inventory tracking and compliance.

  • Develop dashboards and reports to track asset utilization, depreciation, and compliance.

Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM):


  • Implement ServiceNow SPM solutions to manage projects, programs, resources, and portfolios effectively.

  • Define and configure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reports for portfolio tracking and performance measurement.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align SPM initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.

Out-of-Box Configuration:


  • Maximize the use of ServiceNow's out-of-box (OOB) functionality to reduce customizations and ensure maintainability.

  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements or configuration changes to meet business needs while adhering to best practices.

  • Minimize technical debt by leveraging OOB features, automations, and workflows.

Governance and Compliance:


  • Define governance frameworks for ServiceNow development, configuration, and integration projects.

  • Ensure compliance with architectural standards, security policies, and data privacy regulations.

  • Establish coding and development standards for ServiceNow developers and administrators.

Collaboration and Leadership:


  • Collaborate with internal systems teams to align ServiceNow capabilities with broader enterprise system strategies and business goals.

  • Work closely with customer system teams to design and implement integrations that support customer workflows and data requirements.

  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to prioritize and refine requirements.

  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to promote the adoption of ServiceNow solutions.

Agile Methodologies:


  • Drive ServiceNow development projects using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.

  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to develop user stories and prioritize them in alignment with business needs.

  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

  • Break down complex requirements into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.



Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Technical Skills:


  • 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform architecture, development, and implementation.

  • Proven expertise in ServiceNow integrations, including ServiceNow-to-ServiceNow and ServiceNow-to-Salesforce.

  • Strong proficiency with ServiceNow Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and MID Server for complex integrations.

  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, HAM, and SPM.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS) and APIs (REST, SOAP).

  • Experience designing and maintaining CMDB architecture and integrations.

  • Hands-on experience working with both internal and customer system integrations.

Soft Skills:


  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders across business and technical teams.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide technical mentorship.

Certifications:


  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) (Required).

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (Preferred).

  • Salesforce certifications (Preferred but not mandatory).

  • ITIL Foundation Certification (Preferred).

Preferred Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow-to-ServiceNow data synchronization and workflow integrations.
