The team is currently seeking a Data Strategy Portfolio Specialist to lead and manage the Gas Transmission and Midstream (GTM) technology project portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our technology initiatives align with Enbridge's strategic goals, working collaboratively with diverse business partners and central functions to deliver tangible benefits and impactful business outcomes.

What you will do:

  • Support Data and Technology Investments for GTM by collaborating with various departments on benefit and cost estimations and initiative submissions
  • Be responsible for the portfolio of technology projects to ensure alignment with Enbridge's strategic objectives and drive benefit realization
  • Identify and monitor key benefit metrics to ensure technology projects deliver expected value
  • Generate regular and ad hoc portfolio analysis including graphs, summary tables, and presentations for Leadership
  • Work with project teams, sponsors, and partners to find opportunities for process improvement and digital enablement
  • Support organizational change initiatives related to technology projects to ensure smooth transitions and adoption
  • Lead internal teams through realignment initiatives and growing responsibilities

Who you are:

You have:

  • 7+ years of project management experience focusing on Gas Transmission projects along with a bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, information technology, or a related subject area

You can:

  • Predict obstacles, challenges and risk while proactively determining mitigation strategies
  • Show proficiency working with the MS Office Suite and Oracle/SAP

You are:

  • An excellent written and verbal communicator who has strong problem solving, decision making, organizational, planning and leadership abilities
  • A motivated self-starter who works well independently and in a fast-paced team environment

The following are considered assets:

  • PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certifications
  • A master's or advanced degree

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
