Seeking a skilled Cable Harness Assembly Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience.The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of complex cable harnesses, be proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams, and have hands-on experience with crimping and soldering. This role requires the ability to work on form boards for extended periods and perform a variety of assembly tasks, ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production operations. The technician will be responsible for ensuring quality and accuracy in the assembly of electronic and mechanical components, while adhering to specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities:



  • Assemble complex cable harnesses and related components according to schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, jigs, and saws to complete assembly tasks.
  • Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies to ensure functionality.
  • Perform quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with established quality specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.

Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cable harness assembly.
  • US Citizen or Person
  • Extensive experience with complex cable harness assembly preferred for top-tier candidates.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong skills in crimping and soldering techniques.
  • Ability to work on form boards for 8 hours or more.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection processes and standards.
  • Experience with hand and power tools, jigs, and saws.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
