Description Acara Solutions is seeking an Senior IT Administrator with deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), virtualization, automation, and cybersecurity tools to join our client, General Dynamics located in Scottsdale AZ. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining and securing enterprise systems, driving infrastructure projects, and supporting critical environments. 70-75/hr. payrate Temp to hire opportunity (or two yr. contract) Clearance not required Hybrid work schedule Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain RHEL-based servers and environments Deploy and manage virtual servers (VMware) Automate system processes using Ansible, Bash, and Python Administer core network services (DNS, DHCP, NFS) Install third-party and security software to meet compliance standards Perform system hardening and vulnerability scanning (STIGs, Nessus/ACAS) Support secure file transfer via AFT procedures Troubleshoot infrastructure and network issues Maintain system documentation and configuration baselines Job Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field 8+ years of experience with: RHEL administration VMware infrastructure support Bash, Python, and Ansible scripting Third-party and security tool installation DNS, DHCP, and NFS administration STIG Viewer, ACAS/Nessus, and AFT procedures System hardening and vulnerability remediation Preferred Qualifications Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Engineer (RHCE) VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Security+ or DoD 8570-compliant certification Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
