PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $104,000.00-$126,900.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $80,800.00 - $150,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you're located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Deliver Insightful Analysis: Dive into complex datasets to identify trends, uncover root causes, and highlight performance gaps that drive business decisions.

  • Build Meaningful Dashboards: Design, implement, and maintain tailored dashboards and reporting tools to help operational teams monitor and enhance performance.

  • Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business unit leaders to gather requirements and transform them into actionable, visual data solutions.

  • Transform Raw Data into Action: Extract, manipulate, and format data to create compelling visualizations and reports that tell a clear and usable story.

  • Support Strategic Planning: Provide operational and analytical support that contributes to long-term strategies and product development.

  • Study and Forecast Trends: Use BECU systems and tools to model, forecast, and analyze variances to anticipate needs and opportunities.

  • Drive Business Recommendations: Turn findings into action by interpreting data and recommending strategies that align with performance goals.

  • Contribute to Research: Support qualitative and quantitative primary research that fuels innovation in products, services, and member experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or other related quantitative field, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years in data mining, querying, or integrating data across multiple systems

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint

  • Strong skills in gathering data, forming conclusions, and providing recommendations

  • Excellent communication and math skills with high attention to detail

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in financial institution data analysis and reporting

  • Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (SQL, SAS, Python, R)

  • Creative, strategic thinker with a track record of operational insights

  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and systems
