About the opportunity
SWCA Environmental Consultants is expanding their team and looking a full-time, regular status (with benefits) Ecological Restoration Technician with particular focus on Invasive Plant Species Control to work in our Ecological Restoration Group. This position requires occasional travel in order to complete restoration projects throughout the Northeast. Must have a strong interest in invasive plant management, ability to work in the field the majority of the time, and be able to work in a team. Primary work will include herbicide application for invasive plant management and other restoration tasks (wetland mitigation plant installation, assistance with trail construction and maintenance, and ecological assessments). An Ecological Restoration Technician in this Amherst, MA- based position can expect the following pay range: $19.57/hour to $25.24/hour. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
