As a Security Professional - Distribution Site in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and unauthorized access. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all personnel and visitors. You will play a key role in supporting a secure environment by verifying credentials and managing access points. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following access control procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the food and beverage facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols for the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
