Easterseals-Goodwill Behavioral Health and Family services is a dynamic agency working to advance quality care for substance use, mentally and behaviorally disordered individuals throughout the state of Idaho. The case manager is responsible for the administering and coordinating recovery support services for mental health, co-occurring and substance abuse clients. This position is part of a team of professionals who work together to provide a comprehensive array of therapeutic services to clients and their families. Requirements



  • Excellent oral, written, organizational, and record keeping skills.
  • Proven, up-to-date knowledge of local community resources required.
  • Ability to move from one task to another effectively and with ease.
  • Ability to manage change with a positive attitude.


Physical Requirements



  • Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
  • Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
  • All positions require the completion of a background check. Acknowledging or having criminal convictions does not constitute an automatic bar to employment.


Experience



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field from a nationally-accredited university or college required.
  • 1-2 yrs. experience providing case management services
  • Proven experience working with persons with diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience successfully coaching individuals to reach their goals.
  • Experience working with individuals on probation/parole, or with those involved in specialty courts, preferred.
