Overview

The EHS Specialist will ensure water and wastewater facilities maintain compliance with Federal and State regulatory compliance and safety agencies by managing the company's reporting and operations policies.

What You'll Do

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)



  • Gather documents for and attend TCEQ compliance inspections.
  • Prepares Groundwater Conservation District (GCD) reports.
  • Obtains GCD permit renewals, updates, and new permits.
  • Organizes construction meetings and collection of closing documents for new construction.
  • Compiles Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) data.
  • Prepares Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) reports.
  • Administers the lead and copper program.
  • Investigates and resolves all TCEQ Notice of Violation.
  • Interacts heavily with area managers, construction manager, external construction developers.


What You'll Bring

Education: Requires four-year Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.

Experience: Two years of experience in the water/wastewater industry is preferred.

Computer Skills:Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, specifically SAP is desirable. Experience with MS Office is required.

Other Requirements: A valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record as determined by the Company's insurance carrier. Familiar with safety practices and rules applicable to job duties.
