Responsibilities

  • Works with the Director to ensure vacant positions are accurately posted based on scheduling needs or turnover.
  • May participate in interviews with Directors and follows up with associates to assist them with staying on track with the onboarding new hire paperwork, pairs new associate with a trainer/preceptor, welcomes new associates with a call 1 business day prior to 1st day of work.
  • Assists Directors with new associate onboarding and orientation, gathering the frontline orientation guide and other new hire needs.
  • Manages the department scheduling in compliance with budget for labor expenses.
  • Proactive and dynamic management of associate schedules, to include callouts, to ensure appropriate staffing is always in place to meet BVSL service standards, scheduling protocols, and to remain in compliance with any/all regulatory requirements.
  • Educates and re-educates front line associates on use of electronic scheduling app.
  • Educates and re-educates front line associates on responsibilities around time and attendance, requesting time off, unplanned time off.
  • Participates in new hire orientation and monthly training.
  • As primary duties allow may be assigned other administrative duties to support the directors, such as:
    • Manages e-call or TELS report, works with associates responding outside of BVSL standard, works with appropriate Director to problem-solve variances.
    • Orders and stocks supplies in accordance with BVSL standard and community supply budget.
    • In collaboration with Business Office Director and Director, manages training completion reports and follows up with associates to assure training compliance.
  • Participates in and attends all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.

Salary Range

USD $22.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.

Compensation Disclosure

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.


Qualifications

  • You have a positive attitude and love working with people!
  • Your organizational, communication, and customer service skills are first class.
  • You thrive on staying busy and being part of a top notch team.
  • Minimally two years' experience preferred in assisted living, long term care or hospital industries.
  • Experience and awareness of 24/7 staffing and scheduling is preferred.
  • Associate's degree or above preferred.
  • Solid computer and keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic scheduling applications.
  • Ability to function as a team leader as well as work as a contributor in a team environment.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
