Salary Range DOE Posting Date 05/13/2025 Union No FLSA Status Exempt Shift Work Possible FT/PT Full-time Relocation No Travel Possible M1 is looking for a DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER: * Responsible to assist Program Manager/Director of Maintenance (PM/DOM) in successful execution of Performance Work Statement (PWS) to control cost, schedule, and meet performance goals. Perform as PM/DOM during his/her absence. * Assists PM in successful operations of all aspects of company program operations, Maintenance, Safety, Quality, HR, IT, Labor Relations, Business Management, and Contracts. * Understand operational and maintenance issues required to ensure mission success and effective PWS execution. * Optimize personnel assignment, equipment and facilities usage exercising flexibility to meet responsiveness for mission success and customer needs. * Interfaces with Functional Commander, Contracting Officer, internal and external customers, and higher headquarters. * Ensure the contract is executed in a safe and efficient manner acceptable to the Government. * Assist the PM by interfacing, coordinating, and leading Business Mgr, Quality Mgr, and Maintenance Branch Mgrs to ensure efficient and effective PWS execution and mission success. * Delegates the necessary authority to managers, leads, and mechanics/technicians/specialists for support and production to perform all contract requirements. * Provide guidance for workforce management on employee hiring, termination, transfer, evaluation, training and disciplinary actions. * Responsible for the safety and security of employees and Government facilities, equipment, classified information and material. * Attend Maintenance, Scheduling, Shared Resources, Wing, etc. meetings as applicable and required. * Direct, plan, coordinate, control, and evaluate operations and personnel. * Support company business development efforts as needed. * Treat customer and company employees in a courteous, professional and effective manner. * Represent the company in an appropriate professional manner in terms of attire, business courtesies, ethics, and customer culture. Additional Requirements: * A Bachelor's Degree in an associated discipline is desirable. A 20-year military career in an aircraft maintenance discipline, preferably USAF, is a replacement for a Bachelor's Degree. * Thorough understanding of USAF aircraft maintenance processes required. * Program or Project Management certification is highly desirable. * Minimum 15 years experience in related aircraft and maintenance support environment, including 10 years in a managerial position. * Must fully understand quality control procedures. * Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required. * Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel. * Must speak, read, write, and understand English. * Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and/or base access as required by the contract. * Current valid U.S. Driver's License. * Environment includes office, hangar, and flight line. Extensive sitting to climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.
