Material Handler

Staffmark is hiring a Material Handler on behalf of a trusted client in Bethlehem, PA. This is a great opportunity for individuals with at least 6 months of warehouse or material handling experience who are looking for steady, full-time work with a dependable company.

Pay: $17.50/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles and storage areas
• Move materials throughout the facility according to production schedules and order requirements
• Sort and organize products on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, or code
• Fulfill requisitions and customer orders and prepare items for shipping or production use
• Mark materials with identifying information and record quantities received or distributed
• Operate basic inventory systems to track stock levels and ensure accuracy
• Assist in assembling orders and preparing parcels for mailing
• Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and follow all safety procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 6 months of relevant material handling or warehouse experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Basic math and reading skills to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a physically active role and in environments with varying temperatures
• Experience using inventory systems or warehouse management software is a plus
• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and lifting
• Regular exposure to warehouse equipment and varying climate conditions (including hot or cold temperatures)
• Use of hands and arms for reaching, lifting, and moving materials
