Forklift Operator

Looking for a hands-on opportunity with room to grow? Staffmark is hiring a Forklift Operator for a well-established manufacturing facility in Lexington, KY. If you have at least 1 year of forklift experience and enjoy a dynamic work environment, this could be the perfect fit for you!

Pay: $17.85/hour

2nd Shift | Must be available for mandatory overtime as needed

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to transport glass between the warehouse and production/assembly lines
• Support the assembly line by installing clips and weather stripping on windshields and sunroofs
• Inspect glass for defects and clean surfaces using an alcohol-based solution
• Follow proper lifting procedures: up to 40 lbs individually, and 50+ lbs with a team
• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Cross-training provided for assembly work

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of verified forklift experience
• Comfortable handling and lifting glass
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed
