Position Details:



  • Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
  • Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
  • Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire



Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Duties:



  • Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area.


Administrative Support:



  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain conference room calendars.
  • Perform general office tasks including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
  • Monitor and order office supplies, coordinating with vendors as needed.


Dictation and Transcription:



  • Transcribe legal and administrative dictation from attorneys and paralegals using digital transcription equipment/software.
  • Ensure high accuracy and confidentiality in all transcribed documents.
  • Format, proofread, and prepare documents for review and signature.
  • Organize and archive transcribed materials according to firm procedures.

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or administrative certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally in a legal setting.
  • At least 1 year of transcription or dictation experience.
  • Strong typing skills (minimum 60 WPM) with high accuracy in transcription.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and transcription software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
