About the Role Culmen International is looking for part-time Foreign Language Instructors to support a future Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center effort in Arlington, VA. The mission of the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC) is to provide culturally based foreign language education, training, evaluation, and sustainment to enhance the security of the nation here and abroad. DLIFLC plays a critical role in the preparation of service members for their missions where the need for language and cultural expertise can mean the difference between key national security mission success and failure, or simply life and death. U.S. forces will continue to play important roles advising, training, and supporting partners and allied forces. The instructor will be responsible for the development of the speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills required to interact effectively with foreign nationals and members of the diplomatic community to conduct the USG's business abroad. Please Note: Courses will be assigned by various task orders and will range in duration from 10 to 64+ weeks. During each course instructors can generally expect to spend 6 - 8 hours per day instructing and creating lesson plans etc. What You'll Do in Your New Role
