Job Summary



  • Strategic Planning & Integration:Develop a structured communications plan with a unified message, aligning internal initiatives (Women's History Month, Neurodiversity Week, ERG Engage Day) and external thought leadership efforts (AI skilling storytelling) with broader Microsoft narratives.





  • Messaging Cadence & Communications Flow: Establish a consistent schedule for internal and external engagement, implementing an "Air Traffic Control" approach to manage the flow of communications across teams, platforms, and events.





  • Executive Voice Development:Research and define Jeana's tone and messaging style for the WWL team. Ensure all communications, including executive guidance on news dissemination and speaking engagements, accurately reflect her voice. Regular huddles with Jeana will be key to success, with an emphasis on simple, direct language.





  • Executive Guidance & Amplification: Provide strategic recommendations on when and how to push key messages, identifying and leveraging internal and external champions to amplify messaging.





  • Team Collaboration & Support:Support the broader communications team by sharing responsibilities, updating and maintaining SharePoint, and managing cross-functional coordination with social, content, and event teams.





  • Metrics & Measurement:Track engagement, sentiment, and impact across communication channels to refine strategies and demonstrate effectiveness.





  • End-to-End Communications Execution:In addition to providing strategic recommendations, directly executed deliverables by writing communications, developing presentation decks, and building slides, ensuring seamless implementation of communication plans.
