Nuclear Training Program Supervisor
Overview The candidate's primary responsibility will be to supervise a group of instructors. The instructors provide training to approximately 300 Core Group and construction support engineers who prepare procedures for repair/overhaul work on new construction and commissioned submarines. The candidate should be familiar with the development of lesson plans, training materials (bulletins, briefing sheets, etc.), examinations and quizzes. Other responsibilities of the group include conducting training sessions; grading examinations and evaluating class performance. The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to manage a team and consistently drive to meet scheduled commitment dates. The candidate will also participate in corporate training initiatives and conferences to ensure Electric Boat maintains its program in a manner consistent with NNPP standards. The supervisor is also a primary contributor during NAVSEA audit preparation and must interact with various departments' supervision and management to ensure training needs are addressed as the department skill mix and responsibilities evolve. Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering
