Responsibilities Provide radiation oncology treatments and high-quality patient care. Act as an essential member of the Cancer Service Team. Demonstrate the ability to operate all treatment and simulation equipment. Job Title: Per Diem Radiation Therapist Location: Main Campus, Bay Area Campus Bld. C Cancer Center, Fort Bend Campus, North Houston Campus Department: Radiation Oncology Job Type: Per Diem Salary Range: $54.99 - $55.01 (Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.) Qualifications Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduated from accredited Radiation Therapy Program Preferred: BS or AA degree Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years performing as Radiation Therapist Preferred: Minimum of 1 years of experience using a True beam Linear Accelerator License(s) Required: Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technology Technologist Licensed by the Department of Health as medical Radiological Technologist Basic Life Support certification through American Heart Association Preferred: N/A Special Skills Required: Clinical judgment and knowledge of radiation therapy, practices and safety Must maintain and complete continuing education in applicable areas to ensure competency is maintained Preferred: N/A Other Required: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email Flexibility of Work Schedule required Presentation skill set Proven problem solving and analysis skills Professional appearance Preferred: N/A Working Environment: Clinic About Us Start your career journey and become a part of a community of renowned Healthcare professionals.
