Job Description
Pay Range: $72,500 to $90,625 per year
- Responsible for fillet deboning department production and meeting department and company goals and standards on quality, yield, productivity cost and safety.
- Responsible for the development and training of fillet supervisors, and team members, working within the company policies.
- Responsible for quick and timely feedback to fillet general production manageron all exceptions in regards to productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost and safety.
- Responsible for monitoring standards and indexes needed to control area of responsibility.
- Administer to ensure that safety orientations and safety meetings are held as required to keep frequency and severity to a minimum.
- Participates at department meetings in the planning processes and to the testing and development of techniques/processes and new products.
Qualifications
- Must possess a B.S. or B.A. degree in Business Management or equivalent work force experience of 3-5 years in the food processing industry.
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
- Must exhibit good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Must have strong statistical aptitude and mathematical background to perform. calculations on yield, productivity, time cards, reports, etc.
- Must be able to evaluate supervisors fairly and objectively.
- Must be able to work well independently, exhibit strong internal drive to succeed.
- Must be able to work varying shifts and have regular attendance.
- Must be able to stand on the production floor for varying amount of times with or without accommodations.
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
