Lead Angular Engineer We are seeking an experienced Lead Angular Engineer with 8-12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Angular 9-12 TypeScript and Node JS. Experience in Fleet Management systems particularly in the cruise domain is a plus. The role is hybrid with day shifts and does not require travel. Location: Orlando Florida - Hybrid Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States Responsibilities Lead the design and development of scalable web applications using Angular 9-12 TypeScript and Node JS. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle ensuring high-quality deliverables. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features. Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Maintain code quality organization and automation. Develop and implement best practices for software development and documentation. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. Ensure the security and integrity of the application. Qualifications Must have strong experience with Angular 9-12 TypeScript and Node JS. Should have a solid understanding of web development principles and best practices. Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Should have experience with version control systems like Git. Nice to have experience in Fleet Management systems particularly in the cruise domain. Must have strong communication and collaboration skills. Should be able to work in a hybrid model with day shifts. Must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Should have a passion for learning and staying updated with new technologies. Must have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. Should have experience with agile development methodologies. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Should have a strong understanding of software security principles. Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until May 30th , 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $97,000 to $141,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
