Overview

Join our team! Interstates is currently seeking a Logistic Specialist (L1) for our national traveling crew, to support the day-to-day field construction and logistical operations to meet our customer's needs in a friendly, safe, and efficient manner. A Logistic Specialist works under close guidance and supervision from the Logistic team lead.


Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
* Housekeeping duties (sweeping, clearing debris, organizing supplies) to support a clean and organized environment
* Act as a spotter and/or fire watcher to ensure co-workers are safe
* Retrieves and delivers necessary parts, equipment and other products necessary for field installations
* Assist the Logistic Specialist in staging materials and equipment for field installations
* Ability to maintain safety standards and working relationships with the team

* Perform other routine duties as directed by Logistic Lead


Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma/GED preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Can communicate effectively with other team members to accomplish the goals of each project

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic math skills

REASONING ABILITY: Evaluate information using measurable standards

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have the ability to work cooperatively with others. Must follow specific
directions. Repeat tasks of short duration according to a set procedure. Work within standards of accuracy
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee
frequently is required to stand or walk for long periods of time, and use hands to reach for, handle, and manipulate
objects. The employee is frequently required to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds while carrying tools.
Reach for, handle and grasp wires and hand tools, bend, crouch, stoop kneel, and work in small places, and lift and carry
objects weighing 50 pounds (frequently) to 75 pounds (occasionally). Specific vision abilities required by this job include
close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception; recognize slight differences in shapes
or shading, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often exposed to high, precarious places, risk of electrical shock
and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Must adhere to the rules of construction while on the construction site. Hard hat, safety glasses provided by Interstates.
