Job Overview & Responsibilities

As a member of Launch Operations Engineering and Infrastructure Organization at ULAs Launch Operations Facility in Cape Canaveral. Responsibilities include:



  • Assist in the evaluation and maintenance requirements on facility systems working with Operations Engineering to schedule work accordingly.
  • Generate, release and close maintenance work orders.
  • Maintain records and oversight on preventive maintenance work orders.
  • Create status reports and maintenance forecast reports.
  • Ensure procedures and work orders are properly approved prior to issuing to personnel to perform the work.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert on the update effort on all maintenance related command media.
  • Database administration and integrity.
  • Resolve issues relating to work orders, procedures, equipment records and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) as requested by customers including USFS, NASA.
  • Provide EAM user training, navigation and problem resolution assistance to technicians/engineers.
  • Process and account for all Facility and Maintenance Request Trouble Tickets.
  • Manage Service Contracts. Serve as single point contract regarding facility-oriented issues.
  • Monitor status of daily tasks being performed on facilities systems to ensure facility readiness.

Bachelor

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 4 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. 4 years of exprience in lieu of a degree may also be considered.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and work cross-functionally with internal teammates and contractors.
  • Demonstrated communication, writing and verbal skills with the ability towork with a diverserange of team members,customers, and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).



Preferred Qualifications



  • Direct experience with HxGN (INFOR) EAM, specifically the Maintenance Module.
  • Experience with developing implementation and coordinating maintenance processes at launch operations.
  • Experience in maintenance roles, especially those involving planning and scheduling.
  • Understanding of launch operation processes and protocol.
