Job Summary The Sr. Developer role is pivotal in driving the development and optimization of data solutions using BigQuery Python Cloud Dataproc and Cloud Dataflow. With a hybrid work model and day shift the candidate will contribute to innovative projects that enhance data processing capabilities ensuring efficient and scalable solutions that align with the companys strategic goals. Responsibilities Develop and implement data solutions using BigQuery to optimize data retrieval and processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable data architectures that meet business requirements. Utilize Python for scripting and automation to streamline data workflows and enhance efficiency. Employ Cloud Dataproc for managing and processing large datasets ensuring high performance and reliability. Leverage Cloud Dataflow to build robust data pipelines that support real-time data processing needs. Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards safeguarding sensitive information. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data processing and integration minimizing downtime. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers fostering a collaborative learning environment. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance data processing speed and accuracy. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for data engineering. Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in data processing to drive innovation within the team. Document processes and solutions to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for future reference. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that align with business objectives. Qualifications Possess strong expertise in BigQuery for efficient data management and analysis. Demonstrate proficiency in Python for developing scripts and automating tasks. Have experience with Cloud Dataproc for handling large-scale data processing. Show capability in using Cloud Dataflow for creating dynamic data pipelines. Exhibit knowledge of data security protocols and compliance standards. Display problem-solving skills to address technical challenges effectively. Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field with relevant work experience. Certifications Required Google Professional Data Engineer Certification
