Position Summary

The CFL Global Program Advisor plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and positive pre-departure experience for participants and faculty in customized faculty-led programs. You'll manage a portfolio of programs, serving as the primary point of contact for students, faculty, and institutional partners. This is a full-time hybrid position based in Stamford, CT, requiring two in-office days per week. The position may also involve travel - only on rare occasions - and evening or weekend availability during peak program periods. This role reports directly to the Director of Customized Faculty Programs.

Salary: $55,000 - $59,000 based on experience.

Program Registration and Advising



  • Manage program setup and student registration within internal systems
  • Coordinate pre-departure communications, including insurance, visa letters, and flight information
  • Serve as a key contact for participants, faculty, campus advisors; and respond to inquiries
  • Track participant data, generate reports, and ensure accurate recordkeeping
  • Liaise with vendors for insurance and flight arrangements
  • Support students with portal access and technical troubleshooting
  • Monitor payments, issue invoices, and process refunds as needed
  • Support 24/7 emergency response on-call rotation
  • Ensure clear communication of program policies and expectations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and support additional tasks as assigned


Success in the Role



  • 30 Days: Understand core processes and build rapport with your team
  • 60 Days: Complete training and become familiar with assigned programs
  • 90 Days: Serve as the lead advisor for your program portfolio
  • 6 Months: Confidently manage all administrative systems and workflows
  • 1 Year: Operate independently with strong program knowledge and client relationships


Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1-2+
  • Familiarity with higher education or international programs preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and web-based tools
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Saleslogix, Hubspot, etc.) and Canva a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience with student advising, faculty support, or partnership coordination particularly in the context of international education.
