Requires daily onsite attendance in the corporate office; this is not a remote-work position.


Position Summary

What you'll do:

This is a paid temporary position for a Treasury Analyst from early June to early August. As a temporary Treasury Analyst with our Corporate Treasury group, you'll work with the Interim Treasurer and Global Treasury Manager on a particular focus of analyzing intercompany payable and receivable positions across all affiliate business units (BUs) to identify opportunities to settle these balances through cash transfers and intercompany netting.


Duties And Responsibilities
  • Interact with the centralized accounting function in India to gather the intercompany accounting entries and month-end balances.
  • Based upon the intercompany data, identify the commercial activity relationship between BUs.
  • Determine the appropriate intercompany service agreement to be drafted and executed between the BUs in coordination with the internal legal department.
    Interact with the Corporate Treasury team to identify the cash balance in the BUs bank accounts and determine the available balance to transfer as cash settlement of intercompany balances outstanding.
  • For the BUs located in Africa, work with the Interim Treasurer to present the executed agreements for registration with the respective Ministries of Finance and present documentation to the local bank for executing payments in compliance with the local foreign currency controls.
  • Provide data to the corporate tax team to determine the appropriate withholding taxes (if any) on all cash transfers executed to settle intercompany balances between BUs.
  • Collaborate with the Interim Treasurer on developing and documenting procedures.

The Company is an extensive multinational company with over 100 BUs located across 6 continents. The BUs transact in cash denominated in more than 25 different currencies with the most prominent being USD, GBP, BRL, and NOK. Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Graduate business school student at an accredited University.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • No relocation or housing assistance is being offered.
