Minimal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare, Education, or a related field
  • Five (5) years experience working in emergency medicine or nursing.
  • Clinical experience in healthcare or simulation education
  • Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills
  • Experience with healthcare simulation technology and software (e.g., Laerdal, Gaumard, CAE)



Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Preference will be given to individuals who possess:

  • Master's degree in nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience with healthcare simulation
  • Teaching experience in higher education
  • Certification as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE)
  • Teaching experience in a clinical or academic setting
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards (e.g., ACEN, CCNE, CoARC)

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

  • Applicants selected for interview will be required to present an online teaching portfolio during the interview.
  • Active undisciplined license to practice in Missouri.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
