Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP FICO Consultant who will be catering to North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Functional Architect specializing in SAP FICO to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in finance and accounting to enhance our systems and processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless integration of SAP FICO solutions to meet business needs and drive efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
• Design and implement SAP FICO configurations that align with business objectives and enhance financial processes.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP FICO best practices to optimize system performance and user experience.
• Conduct thorough testing of SAP FICO solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability before deployment.
• Develop comprehensive documentation for SAP FICO configurations and processes to support ongoing maintenance and user training.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO issues promptly to minimize disruption to business operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other systems.
• Monitor SAP FICO system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP FICO developments and incorporate relevant advancements into the system.
• Facilitate user training sessions to ensure effective utilization of SAP FICO functionalities.
• Support finance and accounting teams by providing insights and solutions to improve financial reporting and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all SAP FICO implementations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes through innovative SAP FICO solutions.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of SAP functional and configuration experience in SAP FICO
• Possess strong expertise in SAP FICO with proven experience in system configuration and implementation.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of finance and accounting principles to effectively support business needs.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills to address complex SAP FICO challenges.
• Show proficiency in documenting technical processes and solutions for future reference.
• Display strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in SAP FICO configurations and reports.
• Be adaptable to evolving business requirements and capable of implementing necessary changes.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
