Cognizant is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the growth of Cognizant's growth across select North American cities. To ensure Cognizant remains a premier digital employer of choice, it is paramount to provide a world class experience for our applicants across North America. This role will also support local volume hiring events by ensure candidates have an exceptional experience via meticulous engagement at every step. Similarly, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator directly engages with aspiring candidates via phone and video to ensure timely completion of offer process steps in advance of joining Cognizant.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure prospective applicants receive a world-class candidate experience which reinforces Cognizant's employer-of-choice brand.
  • Track and Report on candidate status information throughout all aligned systems to provide clarity for stakeholders
  • Manage, analyze and report on candidate metrics, from initial application to interview to onboarding.
  • Engage business stakeholders on transitioning candidates to "new hires" and ensure completion of related onboarding steps
  • Directly engage with new hires via phone & video tools (Teams/TalView), facilitating interviews and offer document completion, background checks, while coordinating with hiring managers to ensure a seamless welcome for new hires

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of human resource generalist/talent acquisition experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent spoken English and written communication skills
  • Process-driven with an ability to analyze, optimize and report on candidate data using PowerBI
  • Provide standard or ad hoc management reporting as requested
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • An outgoing, people-centric mindset resulting is 20-30 joinee outreach calls per day
  • Prior experience communicating with US based candidates from multicultural, multinational, multi-gender backgrounds
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong calendar management skills

Nice to Haves:

* Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) experience preferred

* Experience working with a fast paced in-house Recruiting team

* Outlook calendaring experience

* Knowledge of employment guidelines and practices
