Job Summary The Sourcing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting physician recruitment efforts by identifying, engaging, and pre-qualifying potential physician candidates. Working closely with Physician Recruiters, this position focuses on proactively building talent pipelines through various sourcing strategies, including online research, database mining, networking, and targeted outreach. The Sourcing Specialist helps ensure a steady flow of qualified physician candidates to meet the organization's staffing needs in a competitive healthcare market.
What you will do
* Source and identify qualified physician candidates using databases, job boards, social media, professional networks, and academic affiliations. * Collaborate with Physician Recruiters to understand current and future hiring needs, job requirements, and ideal candidate profiles. * Conduct initial outreach and screening to assess candidate interest, availability, and qualifications before passing leads to the recruiting team. * Maintain and update candidate databases (e.g., applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms) to ensure accurate documentation of candidate pipelines and interactions. * Develop and execute sourcing campaigns and outreach strategies to attract passive and active physician candidates. * Build relationships with medical schools, residency programs, and professional associations to establish referral networks and candidate pipelines. * Monitor sourcing metrics and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving physician recruitment strategies. Education Qualifications
* High School Diploma and/or GED Required * Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Marketing or related field Preferred Experience Qualifications * 1-3 years Experience in recruitment, marketing, and/or sales that includes experience marketing through social media.
