SALARY RANGE: $95,000 - 108,000 POSITION SUMMARY: The Network Engineer II is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of the Company's enterprise network systems, spanning multiple sites across Pacific and Atlantic facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining seamless connectivity, supporting business operations, and safeguarding network infrastructure. The position reports to the IT Director of Networks and Connectivity. Travel to Portland, Bremerton, Tacoma, and Everett locations as required for projects or issue resolution. JOB SCOPE: The Network Engineer II operates under the guidance of the IT Director of Networks and Connectivity, making recommendations to enhance the security and efficiency of enterprise-wide network operations. While geographically separated from other team members, the engineer exercises independent judgment to maintain networks within their area of responsibility, collaborating with the broader networking team to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and objectives. INTERPERSONAL CONTACTS: The individual communicates both verbally and written with IT team members, internal business unit customers, and potentially with external customers or partners. They provide regular verbal and written status reports to manager, fellow IT / Security team members, and potentially internal and external customers. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is conducted in a dynamic, fast-paced office setting with moderate to loud noise levels from production activity in the shipyard. The individual may be required to be in production areas in yard and onboard ships. They must be able to walk to and from job sites. The person must be able to climb inclined stairways and vertical ladders; to enter confined areas and tanks; to work at heights. The incumbent must be able to frequently bend, squat, crawl, twist and may be required to lift up to 25 pounds. Good finger, hand and wrist dexterity required for extensive computer operations. The person must have good hand-eye coordination and may spend extended time sitting in front of a computer terminal. They may be required to work more than 8-hour shifts and weekend work. There may be local travel and out-of-town travel (including air travel) up to 5% of the time with notice. WORK ENVIRONMENT: While in production areas, will be exposed to all weather conditions, noise, dusts and odors.
