Job Summary

Essential Functions

• Delivers direct service and professional pastoral care to assigned clinical areas which includes availability to serve at least monthly in the On-Call Chaplain rotation.

• Works collaboratively with Coordinator of Clinical Pastoral Education as Administrative Supervisor for CPE Students assigned to work in his/her assigned clinical areas.

• Serves on interdisciplinary committees as assigned.

• Provides training and education pertaining to the nature and scope of Pastoral Care Services to members of the interdisciplinary treatment team and other employees.

• Serves as Adjunct Faculty for Clinical Pastoral Education program.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - Master's degree in Divinity or related field of study.

• Experience - One (1) year of experience acquired through completion of Chaplain Residency program at an ACPE, Inc. Accredited Center. Pastoral experience in a congregational setting - Preferred

Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses

• Board Certified Eligible by the Association for Professional Chaplains (APC, Inc.)

• Board Certified Chaplain by the Association for Professional Chaplains (APC, Inc.) - Preferred\

• Licensed or ordained by faith/denominational group. If applicable, eligible for denominational endorsement to healthcare chaplaincy. When applicable, applicant must attach a signed letter from denominational endorsement official

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)

• Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)

• Data entry skills
