Job Overview

The Program Coordinator reports to the Associate Director of Immersive & International Programs. This role will predominantly support experiential learning opportunities at Lindner through faculty-led travel and collaboration with US-based companies and institutions, including those in Cincinnati. Some support of international programming may also be required. The Program Coordinator will work closely with students, faculty, and staff at Lindner, as well as non-Lindner partners both within and outside of UC.

Plan, design, evaluate, modify, and coordinate programs for a department or college.

This position will have the option of a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days work from home) for those with a residence within OH/IN/KY following 90 days of training. Residence must be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to have ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.

Essential Functions

  • Design/create and conduct seminars, classes, workshops or programs either as part of an existing course or as a standalone experience. This includes coordinating with partners institutions / companies, travel and logistics planning, and administrative support through CONCUR for expense reports and reimbursements.
  • Develop program objectives and monitor quantitative and qualitative data on progress toward objectives. Review objectives to identify problems and solutions, prioritize solutions and develop action steps for program improvement.
  • Provide financial administrative support for program initiatives.
  • Develop, administer and analyze assessment/evaluation questionnaires. Compile statistics and prepare reports.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit students and program participants.
  • Interact with staff faculty, external agencies and other university departments.
  • Act as primary point of contact for student inquiries, support program application processes, collecting and updating student records.
  • May conduct research and analyze relevant literature, other benchmark information to develop grant proposals, new program ideas and propose program changes.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

One (1) year of program coordination experience.
