Medical Assistant - Primary Care & Occupational Health Category: Healthcare Employment Type: Contract To Hire Reference: BH-385335 Primary Care Medical Assistant needed for a full-time temp-to-hire contract opportunity with Yoh's well-known occupational health client located in Dallas, TX(at the airport). This is located at a clinic that offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees only. You'll be assisting the medical team with front and back office responsibilities. This is for second shift: Monday-Friday 12:30pm to 9:00pm. Top Skills You Should Possess: Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) highly preferred Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and must be a team player Looking for a responsible, friendly, and helpful employee What You'll Be Doing: : Greet patients and check them in/out Answer phones and schedule appointments Maintain employee health records (using EPIC). Room and triage patients First-aid support DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing Provide medical testing such as EKGs, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening Ear lavages Administer vaccines and pass out meds, as directed What You Need to Bring to the Table: BLS/CPR certified (hands on courses only - no online accepted) Yearly TB (PPD) or QuantiFERON Gold test Proof of US Citizenship (ie valid US Passport or original US Birth Certificate) for security clearance/badging Strong organizational skills and good at multi-tasking BAT Certified highly preferred Urine Drug Screen Collector Certified highly preferred What's In It For You?
