Senior HR Specialist - Benefits and HRIS

Precise is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Senior HR Specialist with extensive experience in benefits administration and HRIS management to join our People and Culture team. This role will serve as a key advisor to HR leadership, ensuring the effective implementation and management of employee benefit programs and HR systems. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of HRIS systems, particularly ADP, and a deep understanding of benefits administration, compliance and reporting. We are looking for a collaborative leader who will combine operational excellence with strategic insight to drive organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction at Precise.

Key Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration:

* Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of employee benefits programs, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and leave policies.

* Serve as the primary liaison with benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party admins.

* Conduct annual benefits renewal process, including benchmarking, analysis, and open enrollment execution.

* Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA) and prepare and submit required government reports (e.g., ACA filings, 401(k) audits).

* Provide day to day communication and support to employees regarding benefits offerings, inquiries, and claim issues.

* Analyze benefits utilization and costs, providing recommendations for program enhancements.

HRIS Management:

* Serve as the subject matter expert and system administrator for the Precise's HRIS (ADP).

* Drive process improvements and automation within ADP to enhance HR service delivery (to include payroll, tax, and benefits administration).

* Maintain data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular audits and reporting on payroll, benefits, and compensation processes.

* Partner with HR, Finance, and vendors for system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.

* Support HR leadership with data analysis and reporting to inform decision-making.

HR Business Partner Support:

* Lead or support key HR initiatives including workforce planning, compensation analysis, payroll support, employment branding/external recruitment activities, and employee engagement.

* Provide strategic HR guidance to leaders and employees to support business objectives.

* Develop and interpret HR policies and procedures; ensure consistent application and compliance.

Qualifications:

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

* 6+ years of progressive experience in Benefits, HR Generalist, and/or HRIS roles.

* Experience in government contracting or federal government agency environments.

* Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or other ADP HRIS platforms.

* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret compensation and benefits data.

* Knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations (FLSA, ACA, FMLA, etc.).

* Proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in an agile environment.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
