The Job at a Glance

Parts Town Unlimited is seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Engineer to support a network of Global Fulfillment Centers (GFCs). This role is critical in, data-driven operational excellence across multiple sites, leveraging labor planning, LEAN distribution, robotics integration, business analytics, slotting optimization, and standard work development. A Typical Day

  • Labor Planning Across GFCs: Implement and optimize labor planning tools across multiple fulfillment centers; coach local operations teams on workforce planning fundamentals.
  • Business Analytics: Leverage data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across fulfillment centers. Develop KPIs and dashboards to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • LEAN Distribution: Champion LEAN principles across all Global Fulfillment Centers, focusing on waste elimination, space optimization, and productivity improvements.
  • Leverage different technology and WMS across Global Fulfilment Centers
  • Slotting Optimization: Utilize BCI slotting tools to maximize space and improve order fulfillment rates at each GFC; prioritize strategic product placement to optimize throughput.
  • New GFC Launch Support: Support openings of new fulfillment centers through layout design, labor planning, creation of standard work, and operational ramp-up planning.
  • Inventory and Cycle Counting: Standardize and improve cycle count programs across GFCs; establish processes for handling non-performing inventory and internal product moves.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a key onsite partner to Engineering, Operations, and CI teams at each site; actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement network-wide.

To Land This Opportunity

  • You have Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or in related field.
  • You can accommodate up to 30% travel time
  • You have 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment environments, with a focus on CI or supply chain engineering roles.
  • You have strong knowledge and practical experience with LEAN, Six Sigma (certifications a plus).
  • You are hands-on with all things labor planning tools, slotting optimization systems, and warehouse robotics (plus not a must).
  • You are an expert in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and beyond).
  • You have experience and confidence to effectively coach and support even tenured leaders through key operational learnings and process improvements.
  • You're an all-star communicator and are proficient in English (both written and verbal). You enjoy teaching, influencing, and standardizing processes across multiple sites.
  • You consider yourself, process mapping, and operational audits.
  • You are a top-star champion with a successful track record launching new distribution or fulfillment centers in a multi-site fast-pace environment.

At Parts Town, we value transparency and are committed to ensuring our team members feel appreciated and supported. The salary range for this role is $ 112,282.02 - 150,234.66 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
