Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) Team

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Austin, TX, requiring 3 days onsite per week.

As a Terminology Manager, you will bring exceptional attention to detail and technical expertise to manage and maintain linguistic assets across multiple locales. You'll ensure consistency and relevance of terminology, supporting the broader localization efforts across the organization. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams and vendors to deliver high-quality language assets that align with the organization's global business goals.

In this role, you will manage and maintain glossaries, style guides, and other linguistic assets for up to 40 locales using in-house tools.

You'll partner with localization project managers, vendors, lab operations staff, and language leads to ensure consistent terminology and address cultural sensitivity issues. This includes gathering feedback, reporting issues, and following solutions through to completion.

You will also look for opportunities to optimize workflows, tools, and processes to support scalability, maintain accurate records, create and update documentation, and manage tasks in agile project management tools, supporting the LQA team's overall success and operational efficiency.

  Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  Background in localization, content management, or related disciplines

  Familiarity with software development lifecycle is preferred

This opportunity is located in Austin, TX, and requires hybrid work (3 days onsite per week).

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $45.00 - $49.80 per hour.
