Description
The Medical Records Coordinator will maintain medical records and prepare patient information for provider daily clinics. This is a casual role/temporary position based out of ogi | Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility - Edina. ogi |Obstetrics, Gynecology & Infertility is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential functions:
- Request charts for upcoming appointments
- Scan patient information into electronic medical record
- Verify patient information is accurate and up to date in electronic medical record
- Prep for patient appointment, including patient face sheet, portal forms, worksheet, diagnostic results pertaining to the appointment, and other provider requests
- Distribute Efax reports daily
- Ensure inter-office correspondence is distributed and documented in a timely manner
- Maintain records area
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Education, experience, & other requirements:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Previous Medical Records experience preferred

- Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance
- Travel independently throughout the clinic or between offices. Activities may include frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required.
- Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
- Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner
- Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations
- Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
