*Job Title: Lead Installation Technician (Travel-Based)*
*Job Overview:* We are seeking experienced Lead Installation Technicians to join our team for nationwide travel assignments. Technicians will travel across the U.S. alongside a Team Lead in a box truck, stopping at multiple locations to complete central office installations before reaching the final destination. (Example: A recent team flew to Dallas and made 36 stops enroute to Washington State.) *Travel & Compensation:* * Travel is required and dictated by the end client. * Per diem provided: $110/day for lodging and $50/day for meals. * Mileage and travel time are reimbursed. * All tools and equipment are provided by company, though personal tools are a plus. *Location Requirements:* * Candidates must reside east of Las Vegas. * Must live within one hour of a major airport for ease of travel. *Additional Notes*: * Driving a box truck (non-CDL) is preferred but not mandatory. * A valid driver's license is strongly preferred. * Completion of a pre-employment questionnaire is required. *Required Skills & Experience:* * Minimum 5 years of central office installation experience. * Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic power tools. * Ability to adapt to diverse work environments. * Proficient in optical routing equipment installation. * Experience with fiber optic cable installation and testing. * Solid understanding of AC/DC power systems. * Skilled in infrastructure installation, including equipment racks, cable racks, and fiber ducts. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
