*Overview*
Business Development of a territory, responsible for driving new sales by calling on independent supplement stores and category buyers within the supplement industry. *Job Description:* * The role is focused on sales, with a customer service/sales assistant component. * Key responsibilities include: -Outbound sales calls to former customers and leads to generate new revenue -Building relationships and rapport with independent retail store buyers/owners -Demonstrating product knowledge and understanding the buyers' sales cycles -Providing customer service and support to the retail stores * The role involves competing with distributors who have relationships with the retail stores, so the ideal candidate needs to be able to position themselves as an asset to the stores. * The role requires strong attention to detail, a hard-working and dependable attitude, and experience with outbound phone sales and dealing with the "mundane nature" of it. * Prior experience in food/CPG sales, preferably in a B2B setting, is preferred. -90% sales and business development -10% customer service *Skills & Qualifications* Must Haves: -1+ years of experience with sales (office or retail) -CPG (Consumer Product Goods) Industry or Food & Beverage Industry -High School Diploma Nice Haves: -Nutrition or supplement sales experience Soft Skills: -Attention to details -Outgoing personality -Strong work ethic *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
